The cost of major medical insurance is not at the cost that you state. Full coverage with dental, pre_script_ion and 80/20 split costs about 10,000 in VA with 3 dependants and a spouse. That’s full coverage for everything. Basic major medical in VA cost about $400 a month. That cost doesn’t seem to costly to help protect you and your family. I’m in support for change but I’m not sure if the working people should ALWAYS pay for everything. From what I understand is that the wealth in this country are going to pay for this public health care system. Yea right, they are all going to stand in line to cough up extra cash to uncle SAM. *From:*

*Subject:* Re: health care public option So on that note of you working for and providing for your own needs. Will you be enrolling your kids in private school this fall? Or will I, your brother, end pretty much everyone else without any kids be paying for your kids socialized education? Also should I write the check out for your school bus or will you be driving them this year? It's also nice of your Brother, your Mom, and your neighbors for paying for that swing set and see-saw in the park down the street that your kids play on. You want your vanilla for free, but you want the chocolate to subsidize it. If we don't have health care, perhaps we should have a kid tax to pay for all the services they require. Instead of just letting the government manage it and divide the cost, we'll introduce a bureaucracy and add 10% overhead, we'll call it kid insurance. Here's another thought for you. How about we send all those kids that can't afford a swine flu vaccine to your kids school. The point is having some basic services made universally available benefits society as a whole. Just as having a bunch of uneducated kids running around would be counter productive to greater American society. On Tue, Sep 1, 2009 at 11:17 PM, Chris Mueller <

He dragged a group of 911 rescue workers who where unable to afford or who were inelligable for health care to treat the injuries sustained as a result of 911. The cubans treated them for us, and also pointed out how per_script_io s costing over $100 could be bought. There for less than $1. You think everybody needs full PPO coverage or something to cover them encase of some bad stuff. I think $4800 for some coverage is better than nothing. But that is your choice right. Why is everybody in favor of the government controlling your life. I NEVER thought I was smarter than anybody in any part of the world or country, state, city or town. You trying to convince me to change my opinion makes me think you are smarter than me or anybody else that has the same opinion. Some people don't always make the right decisions, some people would rather have $800 a month truck payments instead of health insurance. Some people chose to buy houses they cant afford and not buy health insurance. I chose to forgo these special luxuries so I can afford health insurance for my family. I chose not to sit around and wait for somebody else to make a decision on whether or not my family has health coverage. Some things are more important to other people, like your son private school boy. Just keep paying taxes. So what is the cost of this plan for public insurance. I've read that it will be paid for by wealthy and small business. Is this true. I haven't heard any my guys complaining about the cost of there insurance. I pay half they pay the other half. If it was such a great thing how come the town hall meetings are going on to get an idea of what the country wants. Not only Whitehouse Station and Hoboken. Everybody can make decisions right or wrong. From:

I don't think they are proposing sales tax to pay for this. I think they plan on taxing certain groups of people that work every day for a living and that's what I'm against. If everybody pays then everybody should get. If some people pay and everybody gets that doesn't seem fair. Robin hood crap. From:

If they stay longer the costs will crush them, if they own a house it will have a lien on it, if they have money in the bank it will be gone. What you actually said was my friends don't have health insurance and I don't mind paying for them, it the people I don't know that I don't want to pay for . 25% of you health insurance premium is to pay for the uninsured. How do you expect a family of 4 to pay $ 12,000 - 15,000 a year for health insurance if the family income is $ 50,000.00 a year. If you have to choose between food and health insurance food always wins. And their are a lot of families making less the $ 50, 000.00 a year. If the public plan goes through I plan on going into the Hospital building business. I believe things could be better through change, but giving things away doesn't always work. Would the insurance rates go done if everybody bought a plan or if nobody bought a plan? Is your doctor going to give you better care if you have a private plan or a government plan. He/ She has bills and school loans to pay for. Was this country founded on the have and the have not's or by every person being equal. I'll bet everybody that responds to this email is currently covered by some sort of medical coverage or government program. Who gets the benefit? I think the health care system isn't going to solve our diabetes, I think our people who our lazy and sit around doing things that are bad for you are going to solve some of these problems. Sometimes people need help and you can help yourself without the government telling you how to do it. If I'm confused about this subject it would not be the first time. Power to the people not the government. Where were all the soap box preachers 30 yrs ago on socialized med any way, you could of gotten an early head start. Maybe they can open Government Med School too. They can dictate the price of education for your doctor and pick what he will study too. Mike always wanted a brain surgeon in the family. From:

I don’t think they are proposing sales tax to pay for this. I think they plan on taxing certain groups of people that work every day for a living and that’s what I’m against. If everybody pays then everybody should get. If some people pay and everybody gets that doesn’t seem fair. Robin hood crap. *From:*
